Redo

Throughout American history, racism was a very big problem. White people had more power than the people who had different skin colors, such as black and yellow (all color are singular and no plural) etc. Most white people hated the people who had different skin colors and always treated them inhuman. The biggest reason was “In the United States this means that Americans are socialized first to identify a person’s race by skin color, and second by hair form, by facial features…” (Fluehr-Lobban 1). Thereby, this quote states that race was a very important thing for all Americans. When they meet people they would look at skin color first.
